Based in Houston, Neal Hamil Agency is a full-service modeling agency that finds book talent worldwide. From the pages of Vogue to GQ, Details to Marie Claire, their models continually appear on the covers and inside the world’s top fashion publications as well as work with top-name commercial brands like Ford, Lipton, Saks, Target, Sunny Delight, Neiman Marcus, Academy Sports, JC Penny, and AT&T as well as on cable, network television, and in film appearances for NBC, Disney, Nickelodeon, Fox and MTV.
Neal Hamil approached EWR Digital with a request to direct and produce an updated Video Catalog showcasing their diverse talent that would be sent out to all their current clients. The video would also be unveiled at their popular annual holiday party and shared across multiple social media platforms.
The situation was with only a few samples of videos that they liked. They asked EWR Digital to pay homage to their founding roots and update their brand while highlighting between ~100 different models and actors.
The challenge was highlighted in a succent way what Neal Hamil has to offer to lead to more work with their existing and prospective clients while balancing with the talents quality exposure. The belief was if done right, the investment in the video would pay for the marketing investment multiple times over.
Strategy & Tactics
EWR set out to find a location where the shoot would represent the clients roots and provide a great visual background with the models. The Fluid-Power Equipment, INC is the business the founders owned before acquiring the Neal Hamil Agency. It offered some unique sets and a nostalgic component of over 40 years of being in business.
The EWR videography team was selected to produce a few short shoots in an all-day event and then edit them to make an impactful video with high-production value. The final video was also to showcase various models in a way that keeps with the quality standards of the Neal Hamil brand.
With multiple locations, shoots, and models, high energy was key to meet the project’s conversion objectives.
With this, Neal Hamil Agency used this video to promote the diversity of our agency and everything we grow within and around the Community. With this approach, Neal Hamil Agency was able to push this content out to clients and industry people alike. Through newsletters, packages, and social media, we reached more than 150,000 clients and industry people alike in the USA and other countries worldwide.
With the wealth of great footage to work with from our shoot, we made sure to showcase the brand, particularly highlighting the benefits of diversity and talent in the Houston market. EWR provided us with an amazing product to share with generations to come.
Through a client newsletter, talent, models, and other agency communications were able to review and share the EWR created video. With this new creative content, Neil Hamil Agency has been able to increase exposure of the talent that Neil Hamil Agency offers.
Neil Hamil was able to increase jobs and talent awareness in different ways. Making even the newest talent seem experienced and professional. Many of the model(s)/talent in the promo video have increased agency revenue with clients such as Bergdorf Goodman, Burberry, Blue Bell, AMAZON, Netflix, DELL, Walmart. Clorox, and many more!
Neil Hamil can directly tie having six talents signed in other markets such as IMG, DreamScope, and MMG, a way for exposure and increased networking for industry placement. Also, it has been used by Neal Hamil Centre, where students learn and train to be audition ready for modeling agency work.
The EWR video has brought a wellspring of increased sales and visibility. Agency revenue has increased by 18%. Additionally, a profit of $8,500 for that week when the video was shared, paying for itself in the first week! Neal Hamil Agency continues to use that video and see an increased profit margin to date.
